What a relaxing way to while away an afternoon with friends or with your family, enjoying tea, coffee, beautifully crafted sandwiches, cream cakes, and, of course, scones with clotted cream and home-made jam. Perhaps even add a glass of champagne! After a relaxing afternoon, breathe in the spectacularly clean air and explore the Castle grounds, including our unique Victorian Walled Garden, beautiful throughout all seasons and the Italian garden, designed by the amazing Gertrude Jekyll.
During the winter months of November - February, afternoon tea will be served exclusively in the Castle.

Perhaps you wish to enjoy your afternoon in our indoor garden paradise - delight in a selection of delicate pastries, freshly baked scones, and exquisite sandwiches, in the stunning setting of our Victorian Glasshouse. Where the beauty of the garden meets the elegance of traditional tea!

My friend and I indulged in afternoon tea for two in the dining room and were treated like royalty from start to finish. The deliciously presented sandwiches, cakes, scones and teas from around the world were served by a fantastic host, who went out of her way to ensure we had the best of times. Glenapp Castle will be seeing us again for sure! Faultless and what great memories are made of! Oh - and that Golden Eagle? Just happened to be flying on the front lawn for a photo shoot - our timing was perfect!
