Fishing on the River Stinchar
The Stinchar is one of the most productive of the Ayrshire salmon rivers and boasts some excellent fly water. The Stinchar is a typical west coast spate river - fishing here is at its best in a falling water immediately after a Summer or Autumn spate. Guests can enjoy fishing the river either as well-established anglers or complete beginners, our Glenapp Ghillie will assist Guests in tactical techniques and the best types of hooks to use for a successful catch.

Fishing on the River Girvan
The Girvan River flows through Lochs Cornish, Skelloch and Bradan, Ayrshire’s major water supply reservoir, before making a broad sweep north close to the villages of Straiton and Kirkmichael and then South-West past Crosshill and Dailly to reach the sea at Girvan. The river boasts excellent salmon and trout with six miles available for guests enjoyment. Our Ghillie Gordon has extensive knowledge in fishing and the history of the local area, making him the perfect person to accompany you on this wonderful experience.

Still Water Fishing
Glendressiag Reservoir tucked away behind the hills of Girvan, with beautiful views gives guests an opportunity to fish all year round. The reservoir is stocked fully with brown & rainbow trout and is suitable for those looking to try their hand at fly fishing. A perfectly peaceful location for guests to spend a couple of hours casting a rod in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside.

Sea Fishing
Test your patience and agility with a spot of wonderful sea fishing. Accompanied by our incredibly knowledgeable Captain, who knows the local sea waters like the back of his hand, he will guide you to the prime locations for fishing where you will hopefully catch some delicious fish!
