Enjoy evenings of fine dining in our award-winning Castle dining room with dishes freshly prepared by our Executive Chef showcasing all the very best in local and seasonal Scottish produce. Afterwards, add to the romance and relax in the Gertrude-Jekyll inspired Italian Gardens with your favourite tipple as you watch the sunset across the expansive seascapes and the dreamy dark starry skies begin to set in for the evening.
After evenings in the castle, get set for your seaborn adventure aboard the Glenapp Castle boat. Sit back and relax as your Sea Safari Manager and personal skipper navigate you through the Scottish waters and islands before arriving at your new home on the island of Jura. Here you will be met with a welcome glass of Champagne by your own personal Chef and sea safari team before you enjoy some delicious dining in the wild on your own private, secluded part of Jura. Afterwards, enjoy relaxing around the open fire with a whisky nightcap as you watch the sun set across the calming waters – perfect for a surprise proposal!
You and your loved one will witness incredible marine life, from basking sharks, dolphins, puffins to seals and minke whales. Your sea adventure will be expertly tailored around your interests and desires to ensure you see the very best of Scotland, visiting islands that are not reachable unless you have your own boat and of course, planning those all important romantic surprises.

T&C’s: Available 1st July – 30th September 2023 and 1st April – 30th September 2024. Prices are based on a 4 night / 5-day adventure, with 2 nights at Sea and 2 nights in the Glenapp Castle Master Suite with sea view, dinner, bed and breakfast and transfers to/from Girvan harbour for up to two guests. When ‘at Sea’ it is fully inclusive of all refreshments, snacks, lunches, breakfasts and gourmet dinners with quality wines, beers and soft drinks. Couples will be accompanied by the professional Glenapp Castle crew, private chef & skippers throughout the journey. Subject to availability.
