The Spirit of Scotland: A Glenapp Burns Celebration

Celebrate the Beloved Bard in True Scottish Splendour

Robert Burns, Scotland’s most beloved poet, is celebrated around the world for his timeless verses, heartfelt songs, and enduring love of his homeland. From Auld Lang Syne to My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose, his words capture the very spirit of Scotland – warmth, wit and romance.

Each January, Scots gather to honour his legacy with fine food, whisky, poetry and music in true Burns Night tradition, and this year, we welcome you to do so here at Glenapp Castle. Nestled in the heart of Ayrshire, where Burns himself was born and raised, there is no place more fitting to raise a glass and recite a verse.

Our two-night house party promises a truly delightful weekend of Scottish celebration, including a Grand Burns Supper Banquet on Saturday 24th January 2026. Enjoy the finest Bladnoch whisky, bagpipes, the Address to the Haggis, a traditional Scottish dinner, and, to top it all off, an authentic Scottish ceilidh – this will be a Burns celebration to remember!

During your stay, as a nod to Burns’ membership in the prestigious Royal Company of Archers, you are invited to test your aim in a thrilling game of archery on the Castle Lawns. Moreover, you may wish to tour the stunning sites of Burns Country using one of our Tesla cars, with our compliments. Perhaps pay a visit to Burns Cottage, his childhood home, as well as the wonderful Burns Museum, to delve deeper into his fascinating life. Additionally, exclusive to guests of Glenapp Castle only, enjoy a Burns-inspired whisky tour and tasting at the renowned Bladnoch Distillery, the perfect toast to Scotland’s national bard.
