Three Night Christmas Break
Make Christmas an extra special occasion for all the family this year with a luxury three-night getaway to Glenapp Castle featuring falconry, stargazing, clay pigeon shooting, archery, treasure hunt for everyone and of course a special visit from Mr Claus – there is something for the very young and not so young!
Christmas Eve
Arrive in time for Champagne afternoon tea served in the Castle drawing room with the sounds of the Glenapp resident pianist playing on the baby grand piano. Get settled in, relax by the roaring fire or enjoy exploring the Glenapp gardens and estate including the unique Italian Gardens designed by Gertrude Jekyll.
Join your fellow house guests for a Christmas cocktail before your leisurely three course dinner is served accompanied by the angelic sounds of the Glenapp harpist. Transport to the watchnight service at the local Ballantrae Parish Church is also available.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a full Scottish Christmas breakfast at leisure and keep an eye open for Santa, as he always makes a special visit to Glenapp Castle! After presents, relax, and indulge in Glenapp’s famous home-made mince pies and mulled wine or experience the incredible interactive falconry display with magnificent birds of prey swooping on to your leather glove.
Champagne and canapés will be served prior to a fabulous four course specially created Christmas lunch. Our Executive Chef and his team are proud to source the very best of local produce both for its freshness and Ayrshire quality.
After lunch explore the endless possibilities for walks on the coast, in the glen and throughout the estate.
A delightful Christmas Day evening buffet awaits, followed by entertainment and traditional family games.
Boxing Day
Another fine traditional Scottish breakfast awaits and an exciting morning of activities for you all to choose from: clay pigeon shooting, archery and treasure hunts are all included within your Christmas break.
A light boxing day lunch will be served accompanied by the twinkling sounds of the harpist and your afternoon is free to enjoy more of the Glenapp estate or further afield.
Indulge in a special Boxing Day cocktail followed by a three-course dinner, afterwards, you will want to don your dancing shoes, and join in the Scottish celebrations with a traditional Ceilidh band accompanied by Scottish highland dancers to keep your toes tapping all night!
